![]() The theme common to all the installations was going beyond the boundaries of the discipline to explore new synergies and contaminations with disciplines such as film and photography in the world of design, and applications of interaction with evolving sectors such as the digital world, technology and sustainability. The architects involved in the project included: Stefano Boeri Architetti, MAD Architects, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Sergei Tchoban with Sergey Kuznetsov and Agniya Sterligova, Parisotto + Formenton Architetti, Chen Xiangjing, Paolo Belardi with ABA accademia di Belle Arti Pietro Vannucci, Carlo Ratti Associati, Patricia Urquiola, Naoyuki Shirakawa and Noriko Tsuiki, Carlo Bach, Laura Ellen Bacon and Sebastian Cox, Tom Vack and Ester Pirotta, José Roberto Moreira Do Valle, Mac Stopa, Vito Di Bari, Ethimo Design Studio, Patrick Norguet, Lissoni Associati, Ingo Maurer with Axel Schmid and Castagna Ravelli. On the campus of the University of Milan, in the Botanical Gardens in Brera and, for the first time, in Torre Velasca (Audi City), a series of interactive installations, macro-objects, micro-constructions and exhibitions were set up by world-renowned Italian and international designers. ![]() Interni - The magazine of Interiors and Contemporary Design presented the exhibition and event Interni Open Borders in conjunction with Fuorisalone 2016 and the 21st Triennale Internazionale di Milano.
